1. Make it a lifestyle

If you give yourself weeks or a month to lose weight then I'm sorry to inform you that it won't work, let weight loss be a lifestyle, do it for the longest time possible.

Giving yourself a time limit will see you give up before making any progress. Chose to make it a lifestyle and focus more on living healthy than losing weight and before you know it you will have shed off extra fats.

2. Exercise

Find time two or three times a week to do exercises; you can chose to go to a gym or take a run to the neighborhood, rope skipping is also effective and will help you shed off some calories.

3. Reduce your meal potion

The fuller your plate the more calories you take in, therefore reduce the portion of your meals and eat less, you can also choose to change the size of your plate and go for a smaller plate

4. Go for healthy snacks

Because you are watching what you eat, at the start you may become hungry often, that's why it’s good to have healthy snacks around and eat them when you feel hungry, this will prevent you from grabbing unhealthy snacks, so always have those carrots fruits or yoghurt with you.

5. Eat more vegetables and fruits

Vegetables and fruits have a lot of fibers and a few calories and are useful for weight loss. They have high water content, and will make you full quickly. They are nutritious and not only will they manage your weight but will also improve your overall health.

6. Go for green tea

Apart from other health benefits, green tea is believed to have antioxidants that help in burning fat. Take a cup of green tea at least ones a day, for effective results.   

 7. Avoid sugary drinks and go for water instead

Sugary drinks are the greatest enemy to your weight, soft drinks like soda and other sweetened beverages have calories that are more fattening and should be avoided, instead drink clean water and the crave for sugar beverages will disappear. Aim for eight glasses of water in a day for a healthy body
